ontarget is Archery GB's exciting and progressive club development programme. Archery GB recognises the commitment and vital role that clubs play in growing the sport. A strong and healthy network of clubs is essential if archery is to grow and flourish.
Through this programme, ontarget will provide clubs with three main benefits - Recognition, Rewards, Development.
All Archery GB affiliated clubs are eligible to join at any time - there is no closing date. Clubs joining ontarget are making a public pledge to be open and friendly, to advance archery and to proactively work with Archery GB.
To join clubs are requested to complete an application form. Once completed clubs will be able to access various documents, guidance and support. Later in 2011, clubs will be encouraged to work towards and applying for a specialism.
The current list of ontarget clubs is available here.
NEWS - January 2012
Grants up to £1500 are now available for ontarget clubs. See the e-bulletin No8 sent out a few weeks ago for the application form, or contact Arran Coggan.
* Community Specialism
The first Specialism has been launched for clubs to view and get involved with. Further information is available under the Specialisms tab. The Community specialism brochure has been sent out to ontarget clubs, and we welcome comments.
Community specialist clubs will be seen as places where people can enjoy a high quality archery experience with excellent social, training and competition opportunities.
